1. Verify if chain brake is activated before you start your chainsaw
2. Engage the chain brake
3. Set the engine in the choke position
4. Start moving the choke control-pull it upwards and outwards at the same time as shown in the video
5. With your left hand grip a front handle
6. Pull the starter rope till you fill resistance- don’t over do it, do it several time till the engine files
7. Release the chain brake
